Peter John Woodcock (OH), of Vermontville, NY passed away on October 8, 2023 after a short illness. Nicknamed “Moose” by Huts Manager George Hamilton, Pete worked at Madison in 1960 and on the Construction Crew and was followed in the huts by his brother Steve (OH) who worked on the 1966 Zealand croo.
Carl J. Svenson, 73, of Loudon, NH, passed away on October 8, 2023 from injuries sustained in a helicopter accident. He was a well known and loved figure around the Whites and a friend to many hut croo and OH.
Henry “Hanque” Parker passed away in Hanover, NH, on July 7, 2023, at the age of 99. Hanque had a long and productive association with the AMC and the OHA, starting as the 18-year old Hutmaster at Galehead in 1942, and including service on the AMC Huts Committee for several years.
