AMC 150th Anniversary & OHA Weekend Celebration
White Mountains | July 30–August 3, 2026
In celebration of its 150th anniversary, the Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) is hosting a 1,500-mile relay from Virginia to Maine, carrying a commemorative pennant across the trails, mountains, and waterways AMC has helped protect for generations. The relay honors 150 years of adventure, conservation, trail-building, and community while looking ahead to the future of the outdoors.
The Old Hutcroo Association (OHA) is proud to participate in the White Mountains leg of the celebration from July 30–August 3, 2026. AMC and OHA invite former hut croo, volunteers, staff, and friends to gather in Pinkham Notch for a weekend of hiking, storytelling, history, music, and community. Whether you spent summers in the huts, supported AMC’s work, or simply love the White Mountains, this is an opportunity to reconnect and celebrate together.
Programs will run from Thursday, July 30, through Monday, August 3, with signature OHA events on Saturday, August 1, including tours of the OHA and Harvard Cabins, a cocktail hour, dinner, and an evening program led by Jared Liu. Main OHA gatherings will take place Friday and Saturday, alongside additional AMC programming throughout the weekend.
Advance registration is required for all events due to limited capacity. Most activities are free, though dinner and overnight lodging require payment.
