On Saturday May 17th, there was a celebration of life for David C. Wilson, held at Pinkham Notch Visitor Center. Dave passed away in October of 2024, shortly before our fall reunion.
There were an estimated 90 or so people in attendance at his celebration of life and many of them are O.H. It was a funny and moving celebration for a man who could remember anyone and everyone who ever passed through the Trading Post at Pinkham.
While there was no published obituary for Dave, we do know that he worked in the Pinkham Kitchen from 4/3/1972 – 4/30/2018 !! He was initially hired by Ken Olson who is seen in one these photographs below, telling us how he met Dave. He was predeceased by his wife Kathy and survived by his son Paul, as well as many other family members. He will be missed.
