Friday, December 31, 2004 Tired of the same old New Years plans? Looking for a cozy cabin in the
heart of the Whites where you can hole up with family or a few good friends, feed
a wood stove, and take the Holidays in stride? Look no further than our own
OH Cabin.
Exclusive use over New Years Eve (Friday) and New Years Day (Saturday) can be yours, if you're the lucky winner of our New Year's auction. Submit your bid on-line at our website, and we'll let you know by Thanksgiving if you're the top bidder. For the past four years, The Cabin has gone unused over New Years. Some
folks feel this is due to the potential for unwanted "excitement" from drop-ins
over that holiday. So we've hit on this idea to guarantee your privacy,
sanity, and sound sleep. You win the bid, you get the cabin, simple as that, the
whole enchilada. Current rates are $5/night for 24 and under (including current
croo), $10/night for 25 and over. Capacity is 16. Simple math says a bid of $150 or even $200 could land
somebody quite a bargain. There's plenty of wood, the place has just been cleaned,
and we've recently completed tons of improvements thanks to the Wad.
Make a bid today by sending an e-mail to Webmaster@ohcroo.com. Tell us your name, the amount bid, your e-mail address and a phone number we can reach you at. The winning bid will be selected by the OH Steering Committee. ![]() |
