I am very pleased to announce that Mike Kautz has accepted the position of Huts Manager, starting immediately. Please join me in welcoming Mike to his new role with AMC.

Mike brings immediate experience as the current Huts Field Assistant, and his previous seasons in the Huts including as Lakes of the Clouds Hutmaster. Oversight of Hermit Lake Shelters in Tuckerman Ravine, as well as, coordination of our Search and Rescue responsiveness will continue to be parts of the Huts Manager responsibilities.
