 O.H. Meghan "Fred" Prentiss provided a glimpse of life at the bottom of the earth through a slide presentation. Her talk touched on Antarctic history, science at South Pole and the logistics of daily life at 100° below. Meghan spent a year at South Pole Station in 2001 working as a meteorologist for Raytheon Polar Services Co.  2002 Latch String Award Madison Croo         MMVSP flag that flew at South Pole in 2001.  |
